Pixie Lott said playing live stops her from going crazy.

The 'Mamma Do' singer lets herself go when she's on stage, and said she wouldn't be able to cope with her hectic life - which includes acting and modelling as well as singing - without being able to perform.

She told website rte.ie: "Playing live is the best! That's my favourite. I think if I didn't get to do shows I probably wouldn't be able to keep up with all the craziness. Yeah, the gigs and shows are the best.

While Pixie added she has more acting work coming up, she always puts music first and is already planning to cut herself off in order to write her second album.

She added: "I don't have as much time as I used to because I was solely just working on the album, which is what I'm going to do for the second album, really focus and be in the studio for ages. But when there's little moments here and there I always still want to write."

A repackaged and expanded edition of Pixie's debut album, called 'Turn It Up Louder', which includes eight new tracks and covers of Kings Of Leon's 'Use Somebody' and David Guetta's 'When Love Takes Over' is available now.

Pixie Lott has not yet bought a house but already knows exactly how she wants to decorate it.

(BANG) -

Pixie Lott is saving up for a "crazy" zebra-print chair.

The 'Mamma Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh) ' singer has been saving up the money she has made from her hit singles - two of which reached number one in the UK charts - and album to buy a house and fit it out with outlandish furniture in the style of comic spy Austin Powers.

Pixie, 19, said: "I haven't splashed out, I'm saving up for a two-bedroom flat with my best friend. I'd love to decorate it like Austin Powers and have one wall with leopard print, one splattered with loads of random paint and have crazy things dotted around, like a zebra-print chair.

"I can't wait for my house-warming party."

Although she's saving up for her own house, Pixie is happy living with her parents in Essex, South England - particularly if she performs at venues close by, such as when she recently opened the Virgin Media V Festival in nearby Chelmsford.

She added: "I love festivals - the best bit is dressing up! I opened V Festival last month. It was amazing. I still can't believe I played the main stage, let alone opened the whole thing.

"I love camping. But I only live 15 minutes away from V, so I just nipped home for my bed and a shower!"

Pixie Lott prefers to buy clothes from vintage shops rather than the high street because you can find more unique pieces.

(BANG) -

Pixie Lott likes to create her own clothes.

The 'Boys and Girls' hitmaker believes vintage shops are the best place to go for unique pieces, and enjoys customising the items she buys.

She said: "I find some really cool, unique stuff in vintage shops. The good thing about vintage if that it doesn't quite fit you can customise it, like, make it shorter. The shorter the better!

"And I've been wearing a lot of socks and stockings. It's a bit school-girlie, which I like.

"I love chains and headbands, so I put lots of accessories with every outfit. And I like to mix designer pieces, high street and vintage."

The 19-year-old pop star also reveals she loves the style of the 60s because of how "sexy" the clothes from that era in British history were.

The singer - who designs a clothing range for UK clothing brand Lipsy - added: "I've always loved 60s fashion, it's so sexy.

"I hear it's going to be big for autumn, so I'll be wearing lots of that."
