Green Lantern has finally been made into a blockbuster motion picture after decades of comic mythology. The story depicts a small but powerful force called the Green Lantern Corps, who are protectors of peace and justice and have existed within a mysterious universe for centuries. Each Green Lantern wears a ring which enables superpowers, though when a new villain threatens to disrupt the balance of power in the universe, the Green Lantern Corps must turn to the human species that they have little respect for, to save the day. Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) must harness the power of the ring and defeat Parallax (Peter Sarsgaard) once and for all. Tim Robbins and Mark Strong also star in Green Lantern, and this exciting superhero movie will definitely have the whole family gripped.
