Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins) recruits Alejandro Murieta (Antonio Banderas) to become his replacement as Zorro, the legendary hero. Together, they infiltrate the circle of Don Rafael Montero (Stuart Wilson), the fiercest of the Spanish tyrants.
