Stronger is the fifth studio album from reality show songstress Kelly Clarkson which takes a notable departure from the style of the singer’s previous 4 CDs. Clarkson has described her sound on Stronger as “Garbage-meets-pop-meets-Muse” and the album has a far more stripped down sound than any of her previous work, making much lighter use of Autotune and other production methods. Clarkson has come a long way since winning American Idol way back in 2002 and her artistic development is apparent from the first track. Featuring the hit single Mr Know It All, Stronger is a tour de force for Clarkson in which she transcends the pop genre and showcases her truly extraordinary vocal talents.
