127 hours on DVD is about the incredible inspiring true story of Aron Ralston (James Franco), a young man who is forced to make a dire decision in order to survive. Aron, a young adventurer, has his arm trapped between rocks whilst out hiking in a Utah canyon. With his arm firmly stuck, isolated and his supplies of water running out, Aron is faced with making the toughest decision of his life. Coming to the conclusion that removing his arm is the only option left available to him, he sets about amputating it with a blunt knife. Directed expertly by Danny Boyle, 127 hours on DVD is about the will to live and the strength we can find within when faced with impossible odds.
