Synopsis

Follow 24 more hours in the life of federal agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in this wildly innovative television series. Consisting of 24 hour-long episodes and employing split screens and a "real-time" clock, the second season picks up months after the first season's tragic end, as Bauer is still mourning the loss of his wife. This 24 hours involves an attempted coup against the new president of the United States, David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert), and a militant terrorist group set to detonate a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles.
