Synopsis

Based on the novel by Ken Bruen (BLITZ) comes this gritty, London-set crime thriller starring Colin Farrell (IN BRUGES), Keira Knightley (NEVER LET ME GO), Ray Winstone (SEXY BEAST), David Thewlis (NAKED) and Anna Friel (THE LAND GIRLS). Written for the screen by Academy-Award-winning writer William Monahan (THE DEPARTED, also making his directorial debut) LONDON BOULEVARD is the story of reformed criminal Mitchell (Farrell), released from prison and back on the mean streets of South London. Having made the decision to shun the criminal fraternity in favour of going straight, his newfound optimism and sense of what's right lead him to a job working as a minder for reclusive actress Charlotte (Knightley). For the first time in ages it seems that Mitchell's life is going in the right direction but it's not long before a figure-- underworld boss Gant (Winstone)--from his shady past returns to interfere with what could be a bright future.
