Synopsis

ROAD WARRIORS grants you access to the brave people putting themselves in the firing line to serve the troops in Afghanistan, as they deliver much needed supplies under an almost constant fear of attack. The four-part programme follows the warriors as they drive hundreds of miles across the harsh Afghan terrain, avoiding Taliban snipers, landmines, rocket attacks, and suicide bombers. Meet the people willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the good of the mission, as they explain their motivations, face their mortality and anticipate their emotional reunions at home.
