Synopsis
Highly anticipated Tangled available from Tesco Entertainment on DVD is a marvellous adaption of the timeless fairytale Repunzal by Brothers Grimm. Repunzal, the captured princess, is isolated in Gothel’s tower where she has been held since she was kidnapped as a baby for her long golden hair. Gothel has been using her magical blond hair to keep young. Repunzal’s kingdom never stopped looking for their long lost daughter and her parents, the King and Queen, release thousands of lanterns every year on her birthday. Repunzal desperately wants to see the lanterns but is forbidden by her captor Gothel. Flynn Rider, on the run after stealing a tiara from the king and queen, stumbles across Gothel’s tower where he is knocked unconscious with a frying pan by Repunzal. These two meet and fall in love. Tangled is a marvellous tale sees them outwit the evil Gothel so Repunzal can be freed and return back home where she belongs.
