Synopsis

Agreeing to star in a reality television show called The Comeback might be considered a bad career move by some, but for one-time sitcom star Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow, FRIENDS), it’s the perfect vehicle to kick-start her flagging career and refocus the media spotlight squarely on her. Adopting the same ‘mockumentary’ style made popular by CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, THE COMEBACK breaks the traditional sitcom mould, taking a post-modern swipe at the ubiquitous reality TV phenomenon and the lengths people will go to in pursuit of fame.
