Synopsis
Take control of new character Apollo Justice in the fourth installment of the Ace Attorney series.
Relinquishing the control of Phoenix Wright, the star of the previous Ace Attorney games, players now assume the role of Apollo Justice in this latest iteration of the popular series. Apollo is a 22 year old rookie lawyer, who is given four different cases to solve throughout the duration of the game.
The premise of Ace Attorney has remained the much same; players assume the role of a defense attorney and are tasked with proving their defendant not guilty using investigation, evidence and cross-examination. Fans of the series will be accustomed to the formula and recognise familiar faces (including Phoenix, who makes cameo appearances throughout).
Apollo Justice also introduces a number of new aspects to the Ace Attorney series, such as the Perceive system (with which Apollo can detect irregularities in witnesses behaviour). Additionally, Capcom has developed this game specifically with the DS in mind, and as such usage of the microphone and touchscreen are much more fundamental than previous instances.
Ace Attorney - Apollo Justice is a thoughtful, witty game and any Ace Attorney fan would do well to add it to their collection.
