Synopsis

Nintendo’s relaxed and colourful town simulation makes its way to the DS, bringing with it the same addictive gameplay and real-time progression as the console original.

With games such as Super Mario and Pikmin under its belt, Nintendo has never shied away from producing accessible titles that can be enjoyed by all ages. Animal Crossing takes this concept one step further, removing most goals and challenges in favour of producing a vibrant world filled with unique animal characters and relaxing pastimes.

Each Wild World town is filled with unique townsfolk, and players can make their hometown their own by upgrading their house, clearing weeds, starting a part-time job or chatting with the locals. Using its real-time clock, the people of Animal Crossing will work to their own schedules, even when players aren’t exploring the world themselves. This concept is perfectly suited to the Nintendo DS, allowing players to stay on the move and still check in with the town at set times of the day.
