Synopsis

Take on the world of fashion in Fashion Designer - Style Icon, where players must compete in this ruthless industry.

The game allows players to take complete control over a fashion designer and manage every aspect of their career. Career Mode is where the action takes place and it is composed over 30 missions. Each one will see players get closer to their goal by tailoring outfits. This process is very intricate, from choosing and cutting fabric to sewing, ironing and sculpting the outfit. Models must then be styled with accessories and have their emotions decided. Outfits are also presented in fashion publications of increasing prestige as the designer improves.

Much of the control system revolves around the DS’s stylus performing tasks like dragging clothes and cutting fabrics. The archenemies of every fashion designer also feature: Moths. These moths will attack and steal fabrics unless the player masters how to repel them, despite their ever-changing tactics. If players do not want to play Career Mode they can design clothes in Free Mode, which is partially unlocked in Career Mode.
