Synopsis

The Guinness World Records make their way to the digital realm in this mini-game collection based on world records from across the globe.

36 different mini-games - based on various world records - have been included in this release, using the Nintendo DS touch screen and stylus to battle against friends or previous record holders. Players can work their way across the globe to compete in these challenges, with over-the-top recording breaking stunts such as smashing watermelons, eating planes and shearing sheep. Players can create and customise their own on-screen persona to take part in these challenges. If players perform well in each task they will unlock GWR Coins used to unlock items for their avatar or further mini-game events.

Once players have mastered the ins and outs of each mini-game event, online multiplayer allows challengers from around the world to compete against one another to be crowed the ‘Virtual Guinness World Record Holder’. Scores can also be posted online to see how players stack up against the competition.
