Synopsis

A new chapter in the Kingdom Hearts saga begins in this portable addition to the Disney-infused adventure series.

With the story of Sora coming to an end in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded tells a story based within the same world and featuring the same iconic characters taken from both classic Disney and Square Enix games and animations. When Jiminy Cricket discovers a message hidden deep within his journals, King Mickey decides he and his allies must enter the book to discover its secrets and the reason for its mysterious note.

Based on the original mobile game, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is a fully fledged remake, taking the core storyline and adding a number of new elements to the gameplay for Nintendo DS. With a new visual sheen, Re:coded stays true to the colourful and sharp style of the console adventure originals. Players will once again manipulate each environment to solve puzzles and fight against the threats that have been created in Cricket’s journals.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded breathes new life into the original mobile adventure, adding a healthy graphical update and welcome gameplay additions.
