Synopsis

One of the world’s most popular board games is transformed on Nintendo’s touch screen handheld, offering authentic boards and pieces alongside a number of animated additions.

Scaling the classic board game down to handheld form, the Nintendo DS’s Monopoly offers players the authentic Monopoly experience alongside a number of new features that take advantage of the DS’ unique abilities. Alongside the traditional board and pieces the game is known for, a number of new animated player tokens and property cards give the game a fresh look. Using the DS touch screen and stylus, players can roll the dice, buy, sell and trade properties on the move.

Players can choose to play a game alone, compete against the computer or join three other friends in a multiplayer match using a local wireless connection. Adjustable difficulty levels allow players to alter the game rules to suit their style of play. Rich new sound effects, animations and a slick presentation give Monopoly a more approachable and colourful feel.

Monopoly on Nintendo’s DS provides the iconic worldwide board game alongside some original new features that improve the game without altering its classic feel.
