Synopsis
Pokemon’s foray to the Nintendo DS is given a platinum overhaul in this portable title that includes additional Pokemon and new areas to explore.
The Pokemon franchise spans countless consoles and genres, each with their own take on the Pokemon world, but it’s the traditional Pokemon collection games that have kept the series so strong for all these years. Pokemon - Platinum Version is a recreation of the previous Diamond and Pearl additions to the series, with new Pokemon and regions placed into the foundations of the originals.
Players familiar with previous Pokemon titles will eventually come across a new region known as the Distortion World, a mysterious area that ignores the rules of time and space. Players will need to enter this world and solve its time-bending puzzles in order to uncover its secrets, as well as the rare Pokemon it holds. Players who have managed to capture the illusive Shaymin in their copies of Diamond or Pearl will be able to transfer it to any Pokemon Platinum game and watch it take on an entirely new form.
The world of Pokemon shows no signs to stopping, and Pokemon - Platinum Version gives the same range of additive Pokemon collecting and exploration that its fans crave.
