Synopsis
Layton and his trusty apprentice, Luke, prepare to solve another brain-teasing mystery in this addition to the light-hearted puzzle series on Nintendo DS.
With its striking animation and quick-witted plots, the Professor Layton series has quickly become one of Nintendo’s flagship puzzle series’, offering players tricky and snappy puzzles mixed in with a fast-paced mystery to solve. Professor Layton and the Lost Future sees the crime-solving duo receive a letter sent from Luke ten years into a future depicting a London now in disarray.
More than 165 new puzzles have been carefully placed into Layton’s new storyline, asking players to solving basic logic puzzles as well as more testing riddles. A hint option now offers players help if they find themselves stuck, which will carefully point them in the right direction. The DS’ dual screens are once again taken full advantage of, allowing players to quickly navigate each puzzle using the touch screen and stylus.
Professor Layton and the Lost Future moves Layton and Luke to new British locations without losing its sense of fun, beautiful art style or testing puzzles.
