Synopsis
Tap, slide and flick to the beat in this musical rhythm title with a collection of wacky mini-games and rhythm toys.
Portable games series’ such as WarioWare have proven that collections of short, snappy mini-games can be as entertaining as any full-length product. Rhythm Paradise borrows this same formula, adding a rhythmic twist to proceedings with a collection of mini-games that test a player’s musical ear. It’s hand-drawn feel and absurd scenarios are matched with a selection of additive rhythmic music that helps keep the beat.
Each mini-game is based around an over-the-top premise, where players will have to tap, slide and flick along to the beat using the Nintendo DS stylus. Madcap games include working as a backing dancer for a pop group, creating love potions with the help of a chemist and following strict orders in bird boot camp. There are over 50 mini-games on offer, including a selection of rhythm toys to play with.
Rhythm Paradise is a title that could only work on the Nintendo DS, its catchy music and snappy mini-games led along by the original use of the Nintendo DS touch screen and stylus.
