Synopsis
Holmes and his faithful assistant Watson return to Nintendo’s handheld in this puzzle title that takes place in the ancient halls of Osborne House.
Designed exclusively for Nintendo DS, Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Osborne House sees players assume the role of Holmes as he works with the trusty Watson to uncover the mysteries of Queen Victoria's missing genealogical records. Using the DS touch screen and stylus, players must solve a series of riddles and puzzles hidden across the house on their way to discovering its secrets.
Each scene in the Mystery of Osborne House has been constructed with striking hand drawn images populated with the weird and wonderful characters that inhabit Holmes’ London. Famous characters from Victorian England also make an appearance, including Holmes’ bitter nemesis, Professor Moriarty. If players get stuck they will have access to an in-game help system, offering subtle hints to place them back on the right track.
Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Osborne House lets players experience the Victorian London of Arthur Conan Doyle’s literary creation alongside a number of testing brain-teasers on Nintendo’s DS.
