Synopsis
The fourth and final film in the Shrek saga is reimagined in this Activision adventure title starring the loveable green ogre.
Shrek Forever After sees Dreamworks’ beloved animated series draw to a close, and this adaptation of the film transfers its events to consoles and handhelds. Tricked into striking a deal with the mischievous fairytale creation Rumpelstiltskin, Shrek is thrown into a twisted alternate version of Far Far Away where his friends have been dramatically transformed and Rumpelstiltskin himself is king.
Morphing between Shrek’s normal world and Rumpelstiltskin’s creation, players will move through a number of well known Shrek locations, solving puzzles and battling Rumpelstiltskin’s allies on their way. Players can choose between Shrek and three other beloved characters: Fiona, Puss in Boots and Donkey. A co-operative mode allows players to pick their favourite and play with others. Each character has their own unique abilities needed to progress through each level. Coins scattered across the environment can be used to unlock new skills, abilities and health upgrades.
Shrek Forever After captures Rumpelstiltskin’s twisted new vision of Far Far Away, allowing players to explore each Shrek-based environment with other players.
