Synopsis
The jewel in EA’s sporting crown returns for its 2010 season with a number of substantial improvements over previous editions in the series.
The fight to be king of the football game realm has always had two main contenders: Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA. With FIFA 10, EA hopes to provide a number of new gameplay features that gives its title the edge over its competition. Visually, the game is one of the most impressive on any system, and as always official players, clubs and venues have been included to keep FIFA as authentic as possible.
FIFA’s gameplay on the pitch has now been made far more authentic; players can fight for the ball mid-air, avoid sliding tackles and use throw-ins to gain the upper hand on opponents. Teammates are now more intelligent, and have better passing and crossing skills to help exploit openings on the pitch. Team styles allow players to adapt their team based on the opposition, adding a further tactical depth to each match. Pre-match advice is also on offer to help plan for each team.
FIFA 10 strives to produce a more fluid, realistic depiction of the world of football, providing the player with precision never before seen in the FIFA title.
