Synopsis
80s icons the Ghostbusters have ditched the big screen in favour of the gaming world, where players take on the role of a new recruit joining the ghostbusting team.
The Ghostbusters films are some of the most beloved comedies science fiction has to offer, so it’s perhaps surprising that the series came to an end after only two films. With the original crew now looking to revisit the series, the Ghostbusters have moved to their new home on consoles with a new storyline written by the original creators. The entire Ghostbusters team have returned to voice their characters as Manhattan is once more attacked by a strange selection of ghosts and supernatural creatures.
Two years after the events of Ghostbusters II, the Ghostbusters notice a rise in paranormal activity as the city prepares to unveil a new Gozer museum exhibit. Joining the team as a new recruit, players will be given their very own proton pack to help the Ghostbusters hunt down spirits across various New York locations and lock them away for good.
Ghostbusters - The Video Game finally gives the comedy troop the game they deserve, with an original storyline that stays true to the humour and horror that many games fans grew up with.
