Synopsis

The Sims takes a dramatic departure in this standalone title that lets players build their own kingdom medieval times.

Usually confined to the modern era, The Sims find themselves transported to an entirely new time in this Medieval addition to the long-running Sims series. Although The Sims - Medieval contains many of the features players are used to, it takes a more story-driven approach, asking players to explore the Middle Age to uncover adventure, romance, comedy and drama. The game has also been given a visual upgrade, offering players enhanced character graphics and lighting.

Once players have created and customised their own Sims hero, they will be sent on their epic quest across the kingdom, ultimately deciding which direction the story takes. Starting with an empty field, players will slowly build their own kingdom from scratch, deciding on its ambitions as they progress. Players can also learn powerful magic spells to help them complete each quest.

The Sims - Medieval marks a dramatic change of pace for the long-running simulation series, offering players a Middle Age storyline and a kingdom that can be shaped as they see fit.
