Synopsis

Already tipped to be one of the biggest PS3 games in the coming year, BioShock Infinite still has a lot to live up to after the commercial and critical successes of predecessors BioShock and BioShock 2. In a departure from the familiar narrative of Rapture and Andrew Ryan, BioShock Infinite is set in 1912 in the floating sky city of Columbia, a metropolis constructed to symbolise the American dream. Players progress through the game as disgraced Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, who is battling through Columbia to rescue imprisoned Elizabeth, who has been trapped in the floating city since childhood. Together they must face new enemies, treacherous environments and overcome enormous challenges if they have any hope of escaping the city alive.
