Cars - Mater-National Championship

Synopsis

Cars - Mater-National Championship sees the return of the high octane, loveable characters from the first Cars game and Pixar movie in a high-speed sequel.

The player takes on the role of various different cars, including the familiar red car Lightning McQueen as he races in the first ever Mater-National race festival. The race is held in Radiator Springs and is hosted by McQueen’s good friend Mater, the race’s namesake. Held in honour of McQueen’s brand new headquarters opening, the winner of the race will be crowned the best car in the world.

Gameplay involves lots of racing with a host of different characters. There are five available in the story mode and around 15 additional characters playable in arcade mode. Each of these has their own personality, and there are even five new racers from around the world looking for a challenge. As well as the story and arcade modes there are six mini-games to play, like the exciting game of picking up laughing canisters.

Fast, adrenalie-fueled and most importantly fun, Cars - Mater-National Championship picks up where the last game left off and improves on it graphically and in terms of gameplay.
