Synopsis

PlayStation 3’s original off-road racer returns with its special blend of unpredictable racers and beautiful scenery.

The original MotorStorm was one of the PlayStation 3’s early gems, giving players fast-paced racing with multiple routes, as well as visual that lived up to the next-generation hardware. MotorStorm - Pacific Rift continues this tradition while moving the action to the tropical jungle. This location is a big change from desert of the previous title, with swamps, jungle foliage and even volcanoes taking centre stage this time. Multiple routes also return, allowing players to find the best path for their vehicle, including bikes, trucks and tankers - 8 different types in all.

The online experience of MotorStorm has been given an upgrade for this release, streamlining the whole process and making it far simpler to jump online with friends. Up to 12 players can race against each other at the same time, creating a furious mess of vehicles battling across each route. Using Pacific Rift’s new control method, players can now punch, duck and ram other players while racing.
