Moving from the streets back to the racing track, Need for Speed - SHIFT hopes to bring a sense of realism to the series without losing the sense of pace and brutality the series relies on. SHIFT features a wide selection of authentic sports cars with handling that walks the line between realism and responsiveness. A fresh team has been assembled to put this new look Need for Speed through its paces, including developers behind the classic racing games GT Legends and GTR 2.

Shift’s most striking new feature is its recreation of a first-person perspective, which places players directly into the driving seat of their chosen vehicle, each created down to the smallest detail. An all-new crash engine has also been put into place to ensure each and every collision results in a realistic and unpredictable crash.
