Synopsis

Melding sword fighting, gunplay and acrobatics, Wet brings its unique brand of over-the-top stylized action to consoles.

Much in the same vein as John Woo epic Stranglehold, Wet is a title that prides itself on delivering tongue-in-cheek, stylish gunfights that let players pull off outlandish moves at the drop of a hat. Gunplay isn’t limited to the ground - players can fire from any position, from sliding down ladders to jumping across moving cars. This violence is backed up by a witty and humorous storyline that sees gun for hire Rubi Malone on the run and hunting down the man who betrayed her.

Wet has been given a striking visual style that blends its typically gritty colour pallet with sudden splashes of red and white. This fresh look is backed up by a 70s inspired music track. As well as the acrobatic aiming mechanics on offer, Rubi can draw her faithful sword during combat and slice through opponents on the run. Rubi finds herself tracking the globe during her quest, moving across locations that span three continents.

Wet is a refreshing dose stylish and brutal combat that doesn’t take itself too seriously, delivering a wickedly twisted action title.
