In another first for the Final Fantasy series, players now have the option of playing as either a good or evil character, as two opposing gods fight for dominance over the land. Key characters dating all the way back to the original Final Fantasy are included, as well as some of the more iconic characters, including Cloud and Sephiroth from the legendary Final Fantasy VII. Combat gameplay is more fluid than the turn-based affair of older titles, offering full movement within 3D environments.
