Synopsis

Everyone’s favourite Cooking Mama returns to Wii in this updated addition to the original cooking franchise.

Cooking Mama may have had humble beginning on the Nintendo DS, but is now one of the most popular cooking titles around. In Cooking Mama - World Kitchen, the same simplistic and additive cooking tasks remain, but with updated visuals, new recipes, kitchen mini-games and gameplay modes. Once more the Wii Remote is a player’s own cooking utensil, letting them stir, chop, whisk, roll and replicate the real feel of cooking. Tweaked since previous outings, players have far more control over their actions. More rhythm and motion is now required to make the most of each ingredient.

Along with new gameplay modes such as Cooking Contest and Let’s Cook, fan favourite Cook with Mama returns, which allows players to learn the basics of kitchen life with Mama and earn medals based on their Cooking skill. Mini-games have now been included to spice up kitchen life during cooking; flip a burger and Mama’s dog might steal it mid-air.

With the Wii Remote allowing players to feel the cooking themselves, Cooking Mama 2 - World Kitchen provides a more complex, rounded addition to the series.
