Synopsis

Ubisoft sets its sights on the Broadway musical in this rhythm game that lets players sing, act and dance using their trusty Wii Remote.

With the success of the pop-laden rhythm game Just Dance now firmly behind it, Ubisoft has shifted its focus to the more theatrical side of the music world, letting players perform in their own Broadway musicals. Classic numbers from a variety of long-running shows are on board, including Chicago, Dreamgirls, The Lion King, Hairspray and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Every aspect of a musical performance is on display, allowing players to sing, dance and act in select musical numbers using their Wii Remote. Songs have also been choreographed with signature dance moves taken from each show. Once players have completed their routine they will garner applause from their loving audience before moving onto the next number. Up to four players can team up for each song, and anytime opt-in allows extra fans to join the song at any time.

Dance on Broadway lets players recreate the best of Broadway’s rich musical catalogue, with each aspect of a musical performance captured with the Wii Remote.
