Synopsis

Afro and his quest for vengeance are brought to life in digital form in this adaptation of the popular television series.

Soaked in the same slick styling as its television counterpart, Afro Samurai plays out much like its own contained episode of the martial arts series. Searching for the owner of the #1 headband, Afro is on a quest for vengeance after his father was brutally murdered. Blending ancient Japanese mythology with up-to-date technology, Afro is thrown into a completely open-world environment that follows the same style as the series, with crisp visuals and stylish black-and-white segments.

Voiced by film superstar Samuel L. Jackson, Afro can tear through each environment with a series of moves based on the show. The same brutal and violent carnage is in place, and Afro can dynamically slice and chop apart each enemy. Although based on Afro Samurari’s first season, new material has been added to flesh out characters and add background to the epic storyline for fans of the original.

Afro Samurai matches the slick style and dramatic presentation of the show perfectly, allowing players to experience a more fleshed out storyline with the same unique look and violent tone.
