Synopsis

Isaac Clarke faces the terrifying Necromorphs once again in this sequel to EA’s classic survival horror title.

After surviving the onslaught of the monstrous alien Necromorphs on a lone spaceship stranded in space, engineer Isaac Clarke finds himself on a huge space city known as The Sprawl. Exploring its dark and dank corridors, Isaac will have to face the alien threat alone once again, now hunted by the government and haunted by nightmares of the past as he dismembers the twisted remnants of the city’s former inhabitants.

Building on the claustrophobic atmosphere of the original Dead Space, its sequel now gives players a more open and varied city to explore, with twisted new creatures lurking around each corner. New tools are also on hand to give players new ways to dismember the Necromorphs, as well as improved telekinesis powers. For the first time in the series, players can now head online to fight the outbreak with others.

Dead Space 2 expands on the atmospheric and horrific feel of the original Dead Space, giving players access to more varied environments as well as online multiplayer for the first time.
