In FIFA 09, players can live the fantasy of the life of a professional football player, as well as customize each section of the game to best suit a player’s skills and abilities on the pitch. There have been over 250 core gameplay additions made to this version in the series, making this one of the most enhanced football titles on the market. Players are more responsive, and can make kicks much faster with improved first-time shot mechanics. It’s now far easier for players to place a ball exactly where they want to, and new momentum physics judge the power of a kick or the severity of head-on collisions on the pitch.
Be a Pro mode returns once more, now with a full career mode and the ability to create an entire team with up to ten friends. In Be a Pro - Season, players can pick or create their own new player and build his skills on the pitch focusing on one position in a team. This mode can also be played with 10 versus 10 online, allowing 20 players to each take a single position on the field.
FIFA’s yearly football title improves on its predecessors with some unique new gameplay features and the return of many old favourites.
