Synopsis
The jewel in EA’s sporting crown returns for its 2010 season with a number of substantial improvements over previous editions in the series.
The fight to be king of the football game realm has always had two main contenders: Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA. With FIFA 10, EA hopes to provide a number of new gameplay features that gives its title the edge over its competition. Visually, the game is one of the most impressive on any system, and as always official players, clubs and venues have been included to keep FIFA as authentic as possible.
For the first time in a football simulation, full 360 degree control has been given to the dribbling system, allowing players to control footballers’ moves on the pitch precisely and move to spaces that in previous editions would have been impossible. This new precision is coupled with improved physicality on the pitch, meaning a footballer’s fight for the ball is now less predictable. Players on the pitch are more intelligent than ever, avoiding shots and throwing themselves into the line of fire while in defence.
FIFA 10 strives to produce a more fluid, realistic depiction of the world of football, providing the player with precision never before seen in the FIFA title.
