Synopsis

Tony Stark dons his red and gold suit once more in this action title based on the blockbuster sequel that features its own original comic book storyline.

Penned by comic book writer Matt Fraction, Iron Man 2 offers players an original storyline that builds on the themes of the blockbuster film and throws in a selection of classic Iron Man villains for good measure. With Tony Stark’s identity as Iron Man now public knowledge, the millionaire playboy is given a much-needed helping hand by fan favourite War Machine. As envious villains start to build their own competing technologies, Stark will have to face a host of new opponents to protect the globe from their hands.

Working from Tony’s base of operations, players can now prepare for each mission in the field by upgrading their high-tech weaponry, customising Tony’s suit and building add-ons from the ground up. Each upgrade adds a real sense of power to weaponry, eventually allowing players to tear through enemies and buildings, and demolish huge structures during battle.

Iron Man 2 - The Video Game builds on the action of the summer film with a more in-depth storyline, greater emphasis on customisation and refined airborne combat.
