Synopsis
Two years after destroying the Reapers that threatened to annihilate all organic life, Commander Shepherd returns to fight a mysterious new threat on the edges of the universe.

After saving humanity from The Reapers, Commander Shepherd is called back to the front lines when entire human colonies start to mysteriously disappear in the far reaches of space. Much like the original, Mass Effect 2 carefully balances character-driven storyline and exploration with more action-heavy combat sequences. The choices players made in the original Mass Effect will carry over into its sequel, where players will have to make tough moral decisions to save humanity. A tighter, more precise combat system in now in place, and players can explore the far reaches of space to chart the varied new worlds.
With its more responsive combat and open exploration, Mass Effect 2 is a rich and rewarding role playing title that still provides the thrills of third-person combat.
