Synopsis
The spectacle of off-road racing returns in this fifth iteration of the long-running MX vs. ATV series from THQ.
Capturing the feel of motocross once more, MX vs. ATV Alive gives THQ’s off road series a more realistic slant, offering real-world physics alongside riders and gear from the world of motocross. Real-time deformation means that each track will alter and decay as players race across it, forcing a sudden change in racing line or altering tactics on each lap. Players can also work to avoid crashes and wrecks as they tear across the track, landing each jump like a professional racer.
Players can now compete in the motocross nationals in career mode and ultimately work their way towards the Motocross Championship title. As players fight head-to-head with other racers they will see more aggressive tactics and racer collisions thanks to a new bar banging system. Rider Reflex puts players in charge of both the racer and their chosen bike, providing more precise controls in the process.
MX vs. ATV Alive continues THQ’s long-running motocross series with a more realistic style and unpredictable racing conditions on the track.
