Synopsis
The beautiful game is cut down to its core in this five-a-side football title where the rules of the sport no longer apply.
With games such as FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer focusing on the scale and detail of professional football, Ubisoft’s Pure Football goes in a different direction, scaling back each team to a five-a-side face-off that strips each match of its traditional rules to instead concentrate on the skill of the game itself. Players will have access to more physical moves on the pitch, including shoulder barges and off-the-ball tussles. No referee means no cards and no bookings - only players who play too aggressively will be penalised.
17 top international teams have made the cut for Pure Football, with each footballers’ unique attributes helping to ensure teams feel genuinely different to one another during a match. Football titles’ traditional recreation of TV broadcasting has also been removed, helping players to feel part of each match with up-close camera angles, motion blur and camera shakes.
By removing much of the extra gloss that covers many current football games, Pure Football provides players with a more kinetic and physical depiction of the nation’s favourite sport.
