Synopsis

Coming from the minds behind the Act of War series, Ubisoft’s R.U.S.E. takes an interesting new approach to the realm of real-time strategy titles. While the standard tactics and gritty realism urban strategy games are known for remain intact, players can now deceive their opponents on the battlefield, camouflaging troops, leading enemies away with decoy units and sabotaging logistics in real-time combat. This form of second-guessing leads to intense matches where players must stay one step ahead and be wary of each and every confrontation.
R.U.S.E. utilizes Ubisoft’s IRISZOOM engine, which allows players to zoom in and out of their chosen map with precision, opening up environments that are hundreds of times larger than traditional strategy titles and can still be navigated easily. Players are also able to take each conflict online and compete against other players, or team up for co-operative matches.
Thanks to its well implemented bluffing tactics, R.U.S.E. adds a newfound sense of tension to real-time strategy titles, alongside a precise control scheme and huge scale battlefields.
