Synopsis
The gangs of Saints Row are at war once again in this sequel to the over-the-top open world title from THQ.
Rather than follow in the footsteps of Grand Theft Auto IV, which has settled on a more realistic and down-to-earth tone, Saints Row 2 puts players in the middle of an epic and crazed storyline in a city where real world rules don’t apply. Five years after the events of the first game, the 3rd Street Saints have become scattered and broken. Players will awaken from the coma they were left in after the climax of Saints Row with an unrecognizable face. Their only option is to track down a plastic surgeon and work their way back up from the streets of Stilwater.
As this fight for the throne spills out onto the streets, a huge variety of vehicles can taken for a ride, including jets, speedboats, helicopters and monster trucks. Rocket launchers, stun-guns and other equally exaggerated weapons are up for grabs, as well.
Saints Row 2 steps out of the shadow of the Grand Theft Auto series by giving players true freedom within its walls. Its over-the-top style and detailed customisation give fans the choice to play however they choose.

- Freedom to Explore - More missions, activities, diversions, races, weapons, vehicles, cribs, city districts, and interiors than ever before. There are over 40 story missions with additional bonus missions take place in a transformed Stilwater that is over 50% larger than before.
