Synopsis
EA’s urban skateboard series returns with the addition of a refined co-operative experience and custom creation tools.
Originally released as a more down-to-earth alternative to Activision’s Tony Hawk series, Skate has quickly gone on to prove itself as a refined and enjoyable skateboarding series in its own right. Skate 3 takes the more grounded approach of previous Skate titles and places further emphasis on co-operative exploration and players’ own custom content. Players can explore the unique districts, plazas and skate parks of Skate 3’s home town - Port Carverton - with another friend, tackling skate challenges or competing in head-to-head battles.
The popular creation tools of the series make their return, alongside new feature Skate.Park, which gives players a blank canvas to piece together their own unique skate park creations. Once completed, these creations can be shared with other players online. Teammates and opponents can also be tracked online using the social network feature Skate.Feed.
Skate 3 keeps the solid foundations of EA’s skateboarding series intact, adding a new social element that allows players to explore Port Caverton with skaters the world over.
