Sam Fisher leaves his days at the Third Echelon behind him to pursue his daughter’s killer in this more intimate and streamlined addition to the Splinter Cell series.
Taking place two years after the events of Splinter Cell - Double Agent, Conviction joins stealth extraordinaire Sam Fisher as he abandons the government sector of the Third Echelon in the hopes of discovering the reasons for his daughter’s death. With its personal storyline, Splinter Cell - Conviction places Sam into more urban environments without the rules of the Third Echelon to hold him back.
Leaving behind the stealth suits and high-tech gadgets of his past, Sam’s moves in combat are now more violent and fast-paced. The Mark and Execute feature allows players to target a small selection of enemies and decide the order in which they should be tackled before they enter combat. Once triggered, Sam will hit each enemy with one precise shot and clear the room within seconds. Mission objectives and plot points now take the form of stylish projections that will alter the environments around Sam.
