Synopsis

Players can see the battle of the bots from both sides of the conflict in this action title based on the summer blockbuster sequel.

2007’s Tranformers managed to turn a children’s toy collection into a visceral and exciting summer blockbuster with ease. Following in its footsteps, Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen takes a darker tone and increases the scale and action of the original tenfold. Its video game counterpart attempts much the same feat, improving on the original title’s visuals and trying to match the film’s gritty and epic scale. Set across a varied selection of countries involved in the robot conflict, players can choose to play either as Earth’s saviours the Autobots or its conquers the Decepticons.

Once a side has been chosen, a wide selection of the film’s most recognisable bots are on hand and fully playable, including Optimus Prime, Starscream, Bumblebee and Ironhide. Players can now switch between each character’s robot and vehicle states while on the move, keep the action moving at all times.

Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen manages to encompass the scale and action of the summer film, while also letting players experience the action from both sides of the fight.
