One of the PlayStation 3’s most well-regarded launch titles returns to the console in this sequel that increase the original’s scale and scope.

Resistance: Fall of Man was one of the most rewarding and visually impressive titles to join the PlayStation 3 during its original launch. It’s dark, alternative World War II setting, sharp visuals and original weaponry helped it to stand out against the crowd, as well as gain a strong and loyal fan base online. Its sequel continues this tradition, but increases the scale of the original, as well as continuing the storyline now in motion. Once again, players must attempt to stop the Chimera invasion, but the action has moved from the Europe to the heart of America.

The single player campaign of Resistance 2 picks up shortly after the events of the original, with a new selection of weaponry, as well as a new sense of the size of the invasion, with humongous enemies storeys high filling the screen. Multiplayer also returns, now with a massive 60 players able to play against one another in one match.

Resistance 2 takes the dark setting of the original, increases the stakes and gives players a bafflingly large multiplayer mode to work through.
