Sequel to the over-the-top action game, Crackdown 2 places players back into the chaotic world of Pacific City to wreak havoc as they see fit.

Mixing the open-world exploration of games such as Grand Theft Auto with the super-human abilities of a comic book, the original Crackdown was a creative addition to the ever-growing action landscape. In Crackdown 2, players return to Pacific City in the shoes of another super-powered officer cleaning up the streets with the mysterious Agency.

One of Crackdown’s biggest draws was the ability for players to upgrade their character as they played, tracking down orbs that ultimately led to outlandish new strength and agility. Players can comb the landscape for orbs once again, now hidden in a more detailed and complex depiction of Pacific City. Up to four players can join forces at one time, raining destruction down on citizens or attacking gang hideouts at their own pace. As well as the gangs that roam Pacific city during the day, twisted monsters will now cause panic on the streets each night.

Crackdown 2 takes the best of the original super-human action game and offers players a more detailed and colourful urban landscape to explore with others.
