Synopsis

Kratos seeks revenge against the gods of Greek mythology in this concluding chapter of the epic God of War trilogy.

Since its first appearance on PlayStation 2, God of War has quickly risen through the action game ranks to become one of the most popular fighting games of recent years. God of War III brings the story of Kratos to a close, a Spartan warrior who has searched through the depths of hell to wreak revenge on those who have betrayed him. With his iconic double-chain blades still in tow, Kratos must take on some of Greek mythologies’ darkest creations on his quest to destroy Olympus once and for all.

Built from the ground up on Sony’s hardware, God of War III is one of the most visually stunning action games to grace this console generation. With this extra power, areas are up to four times larger than those seen in God of War II, resulting in enemies and environments of epic magnitude. Matching this newfound scale are huge armies that Kratos can tear through with the same signature gameplay.

God of War III brings the action trilogy to a close with some of the largest scale battles yet seen in the series and familiar refined blade-based combat.
