Synopsis

SpongeBob and his collection of weird and wonderful undersea friends hit the race track in this arcade racing game from THQ.

Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants series is filled to bursting point with wacky characters ripe for their own over-the-top racing game. With Squidward, Patrick, Plankton and others alongside SpongeBob himself, Boating Bash lets players race across undersea environments in demolition derby-style party races throughout Bikini Bottom. Taking inspiration from one of SpongeBob Squarepants’ classic episodes, players must work to finally earn SpongeBob his long-awaited driving license, before being tricked into the demolition races by a fiendish shark.

Once players have selected their chosen SpongeBob character, a variety of boats can be customised with more than 100 different options. Obstacles and hazards litter each race course, and players will have to avoid the obstructions as they fight to be the last boat standing. Players can also race against others in a series of multiplayer matches.

SpongeBob SquarePants - Boating Bash places the surreal humour of the hit animation into the kart racing world alongside its best known characters and Bikini Bottom locations.
