EA’s most authentic recreation of the nation’s favourite sport steps onto the pitch in FIFA 09.

This edition of FIFA 09 is powered by its own exclusive engine designed specifically for the Nintendo DS, running at 60 frames per second and providing far more responsive gameplay in the process. Now running at twice the speed, players can move more fluidly around the pitch and respond to any threats much faster.

For the first time on the Nintendo DS, Be a Pro mode is now available. Players are able to take a single chosen player across multiple seasons, filling their role alone on the pitch. The Be a Pro camera keeps careful track of the player on the pitch. Players can also create their own football star and develop his skills in their chosen position until he slowly becomes a national football treasure. Every match is rated and analyzed, giving players fast in-game feedback and a final rating at the end of the match. Local multiplayer is now available using just one copy of the game for up to four DS owners.

FIFA’s yearly football title improves on its predecessors with some unique new gameplay features and the return of many old favourites.
